on this edition of questions you all want to teal deer about...

how does your character react to physical contact? this can be anything from fist fights to sex to brofists. what are they most comfortable with? how to they react to unexpected touches? what sorts of physical contact are they most likely to dish out? do they only let some people touch them or are they more of the tactile, i didn't get hugged enough as a child sort?

give me your thoughts, gds.

depends on the company. eames is naturally a very tactile person, but he's trained himself out of the habit. everything about eames is, on some level, about deception. he has to be very careful about how he interects with people because lol how many countries have arrest warrents for him??? it's in his best interest to keep himself very closely contained and not touch every damn thing or person he's speaking with.

that being said, he does drop his guard at times, but it's a really, really rare fucking thing, and it happens literally once every ten years, and always with people he knows well and trusts, as much as eames ever trusts anyone.

unsolicited touching is something eames does allow. if someone claps him on teh shoulder eames will play along, but there's always an undercurrent of distaste like "uh why are you touching me again?"

phsyically, he's an imposing figure. physical altercations are rare for him, because eames really prefers to verbally humiliate people rather than resorting to his fists. however, if pushed far enough, he can and will start a full out brawl. eames is scary strong, has military training, and can do an appalling amount of damage. so that can happen, but only in dire straights/someone insults his mother.

tl;dr you can touch eames if you want, but he probably won't appreciate it unless you are a bro.

Sirius: Deeeefinitely the "I didn't get hugged enough as a child" sort. He's definitely very touchy with his friends, and gives great hugs.

Tavros: Not very touchy. I don't think most trolls are - most of the time if another troll is that close to you, you're about to get hurt / hurt them, so while he himself is always pretty gentle if he can be, and he'd probably have more self-esteem if he got more hugs, he doesn't offer or seek physical contact out, and isn't really sure what to do when it happens. }:| ??

There are a few people that he feels close enough to be sort of awkwardly spontaneously touchy with, but it's a short list.

The Brucolac: Would be so, so confused if someone voluntarily tried to give him more than a handshake. He...wouldn't...kill them? But he'd be very concerned for their sanity.
