THE TL;DR MEME
» post with your characters
» reply to other people's comments with questions about their characters like "tell me about your headcanon," "why did you pick them up," "what's up with that username," "BUT HOW DO YOU FEEEEEEL," or whatever else you'd like to know, bonus points for hideousness
» answer questions you receive with as much teal deer as you deem appropriate
» everyone gets an excuse to ramble about random things
» this meme was lovingly ganked and modified from a poly meme
» it is physically impossible to be late

Altlivia ► Not long after she got her Olympic gold her sister died giving birth to her niece and neither survived. She stopped pursuing that path in her life and took a long time to be at home with her mother and just be family in her sister's absence. It was really hard on her mother so it was a constant job trying to cheer her up and keep her from falling completely apart. Altliv managed to find time to herself to just cry on her own though, so she could be strong for her mother. The world began deteriorating more at that point and Fringe Division became a prominent part of Department of Defense. She started to consider what she could do with her life but wasn't quite ready to do anything yet. Her mother pretty much had a breakthrough in her grief and woke up one day, squared her shoulders, and moved on. She decided that it would be best for the both of them if she moved and even though Altliv protested at first, it happened anyways and she helped her mother move. In the end it helped her move on as well (which was partially her mother's intention) and she decided to join Fringe Division.

Olivia ► Olivia doesn't dream anymore, so her "dreams" are just memories. She cut out so many "unnecessary" things from her life that she left no room for something like dreams. And since she drives herself forward by reminding herself of all the things she's failed at and how she's going to do better and help people better next time, she remembers things when she sleeps. If it's a good day then she doesn't remember but if it was a bad day and she's being hard on herself then it's a constant stream of her past and she walks through it until she wakes up, squares her shoulders, and promises herself and all those people she failed that she will do better today and won't fail this time.
