Hank: Best headmaster Xavier's had so far! He's got the right balance of taking Calvin seriously versus not letting him run off a cliff to serve as the kid's educator. More importantly, Hank's sense of fun and science sort of resembles Calvin's own enough for Calvin to respect this grown-up. Being a blue furry superhero to a six-year old boy is a huge help.
Jack's thoughts on Vic are ambivalent. He's on the police informant list for good reason, but he and Jack haven't worked together personally enough for him to be on Jack's (very short) 'trust' list. Jack's aware that he's active against Vulcanus, which is good, but they've mainly reported to Waller instead of teaming up directly. If Jack knew Vic wasn't entirely forthcoming during the investigation of the people Onyx was eating, his opinion of him would drop significantly.
