John really likes Ruka! She is kind of shy and quiet, but from the get go she was incredibly helpful to him, even though he was a complete stranger. He thinks that she's very serious, but it's not like he isn't used to kids his age that take themselves incredibly serious, so that's not something that bugs him. He does wish he knew more about her interests so he could make her laugh/tell jokes she'd appreciate more, and likes that he's at least some side of her that has played a small prank on him, because if nothing else John can appreciate a good joke! She strikes him as someone who is kind of reserved, but not closed off or anything of that sort. I think at this point he would really like to know her better, because he thinks of her as a friend, but also realizes there's so much about her he doesn't really know, and he would like to change that. He's also kind of interested in the card game she's mentioned to him before!
