She also seems like one of the most fun out of the trolls he's talked to, and the only thing that gets to him is the sniffing and licking, which always strikes him as a little invasive, but tolerable... well the sniffing is at least.
Stein
And as far as Stein goes, John still sees him as a very smart guy, and likes that Stein seems to have some respect for John's opinions and doesn't just dismiss him. John's not really used to people not just telling him things and going "NOW ACCEPT MY WORD AND BELIEVE ME I'M RIGHT" ... he knows a lot of really bossy people. At the same time Stein kind of coaxes ideas out of him instead of expecting John to have answers too SO it's a good balance John isn't used to and he really appreciates it. He's kind of an odd guy too, and John realizes that, but he doesn't think the odd traits override the good ones at all.
