John also worries about terezi... JOHN JUST KIND OF WORRIES ABOUT A LOT OF THE TROLLS RIGHT NOW. Terezi has gotten herself killed though, so his worry here is for her literal physical safety. He knows people come back to life, but that doesn't mean he wants to see her get hurt. She seems like a really friendly, nice person and seems to honestly want to become his friend even though they were off to a very rocky start from back home. He doesn't mind what was done to alternate timeline John by her, and to be honest he really doesn't think about it much at all since John's own safety/technically only under special circumstances mortality isn't really something he gives a lot of thought to.

She also seems like one of the most fun out of the trolls he's talked to, and the only thing that gets to him is the sniffing and licking, which always strikes him as a little invasive, but tolerable... well the sniffing is at least.

Stein

WHO YES I would love to do a backdated meetup of them!! Things are basically settled in my life right now so any time this week works for me.

And as far as Stein goes, John still sees him as a very smart guy, and likes that Stein seems to have some respect for John's opinions and doesn't just dismiss him. John's not really used to people not just telling him things and going "NOW ACCEPT MY WORD AND BELIEVE ME I'M RIGHT" ... he knows a lot of really bossy people. At the same time Stein kind of coaxes ideas out of him instead of expecting John to have answers too SO it's a good balance John isn't used to and he really appreciates it. He's kind of an odd guy too, and John realizes that, but he doesn't think the odd traits override the good ones at all.
