karkat tends to use either voice or text! he eschews the video function unless he feels he has to. he is a very guarded person and wears his emotions on his face so he TENDS TO HIDE BEHIND VOICE AND TEXT. he would use text more but UGLY TROLL TEXT with the courier and color and bold and me not wanting to force it down people's throats.
