Oh, Quentin, Quentin, Quentin. Mitchell is conflicted about Quentin. He thinks that QQ has potential in the future, but every time he goes on about some anarchist, punky way of dealing with things, he loses hope that it'll ever happen. He thinks if QQ would let go of it, he'd grow up really fast and actually be a good leader, but for the life of him, he's constantly annoyed by him. Also Quentin is a pest, and Mitchell just doesn't know how to deal with him, because his every effort to appeal to Q's morality and need to be better hasn't...actually worked. So he's a little bit at his wits end with him, but he doesn't really know how to appeal to a teenager very well.

Little Larsa... :'( Like with most kids, Mitch isn't quite sure how to handle him. Although he definitely likes having him around City Hall, since Larsa is a bit more proper, a bit more formal, and he's interested in politics, it's a few things he doesn't really see from kids, so it's kind of refreshing! Also, he enjoys having the kid under his wing, because he feels like at the very least, if Larsa's stuck here, he'll be able to get something from City Hall, and maybe go further when he gets older.

He does think he's a little weird, but he finds the kid endearing in a way because of that.

Mitch thinks Kang's a little interesting! The guy obviously is having that whole "new world, new tech" shock, but he seems intelligent enough, and he asked about his one true love, engineering! So he's really interested in seeing if he's going to pursue it, because Mitch just does not know enough engineers, which is something he really does have a lot of passion for. Other than that, he isn't quite sure what to make of Kang yet!

Oh Callie. She's like this efficient ball of evil, and he's not sure why that endears her for him! He likes that she's willing to speak her mind, and yet she's not going out there and killing natives. She actually has a surprising balance in the way she does things, and Mitch really respects her for bringing in the DOI into the City, because it's been so integral in helping people get adjusted. Beyond that, he really hopes she sticks around, because she's like this amazing little ace he has with the import community!

Christ, Zee is like his best friend that he can't get rid of. Well, he doesn't think of her as a best friend, but he doesn't think of anyone like that, but it's still true. She's knows him better than anyone outside of work, and she's seen his casual side a lot more than everyone else has.

He does secretly sneak into her shows when he isn't working, which is less often than he'd like, but he does do it. Although he never really feels comfortable with how she comes to him with her relationship shit, since he doesn't...quite know what to do with that shit. But if there's something he loves, it's pot and Denny's night. It's like the one time he gets to not be the Mayor, and just unwind.

SO REALLY HE'S VERY AFFECTIONATE. At least in little ways. He trusts her a lot, even if he doesn't show it, he knows she'd come through in a pinch, and that means a lot to him!

Okay, so. Eddie is one of the people Mitchell trusts the most in the City. That's pretty much a given, and the fact that he's been around for forever, and hasn't tried to fuck him over solidifies the fact that Mitch honestly believes in reformation because of Eddie. But he's also been concerned, because Edward really does have that need to know more, and Mitch is a man of secrets, which makes him forever uncomfortable with the fact that Edward knows so much. Worse than that, he knows that Edward is going to find things out, whether Mitch says it or not, and he's deeply, deeply uncomfortable with that possibility. (AND HONESTLY HE'S WORRIED WITH HOW PETULANT EDDIE WAS ABOUT YOU KNOW WHO BECAUSE HE DOESN'T NEED THIS EDDIE LOOK AT HOW UNHAPPY HE IS!!)

With that in mind, he recognizes that the reason he keeps Eddie around isn't just because he's the guy he trusts the most, but because he respects his intelligence and foresight. A lot. If there's anyone who could convince Mitch to do something he didn't want to do, it would be Eddie. So he respects and trusts him a lot, but he's still wary, and he knows Eddie probably thinks it's about him more than it is about Mitchell being Mitchell, but he's not about to just go around saying that it's really just him being him because he's a squirrely fucker who doesn't like sharing the truth.

More than anything, though, Edward's still the guy who knows more about Mitchell than anyone else, and he's going to do his damnedest to keep him close because of that, if not just how helpful and useful he is.

MAN Mitch thinks Yuma needs to go back to school. Seriously. The kid has problems, and while Mitch doesn't generally like getting involved with kids at all, he wants to see them at least get an education while they're here in case something happens, and Yuma's the kind of kid who'd probably...not know anything, and do something on accident that causes a mess for him. Which is something Mitchell isn't exactly looking forward to!! But he also isn't sure what else to make of the kid, because he's in that weird "living on his own" kind of thing that makes him uncomfortable, but he also isn't part of the CPS, so he's not about to get mixed up with the lives of import kids. BUT IT STILL DOESN'T MAKE HIM COMFORTABLE. Besides that, there really isn't much impression atm. Other than he needs an education!!

Oh fuck oh shit. There's so much conflict here. So uh, yeah, to start with Mitch is not happy that Bradbury's here. The impression they left with makes him feel like things are going to get unnecessarily complicated for him, and it's not just the fact that Bradbury left with that really awkward and totally uncalled for accusation, but also because Mitch might have feelings there in his mechanical little heart that he's admitted only to himself (and future Bradbury) but he's not about to do anything with. Which means that he's sitting here miserable and conflicted because Bradbury was his friend, but goddamn he doesn't really want to be his friend because that's just going to go south, and he knows it.

But at the same time, he wants to make it up to him, because he did fuck his life over pretty bad, and Mitchell has a lot of guilt for the shit he did, and he knows, in the end, here in the City, shit doesn't matter back home. With that in mind, he wants to see how this pans out, but he's also in that "need to approach with caution" mindset, because last time was bad enough. He doesn't want to go through that shit again.

BUT AT THE SAME TIME goddamn he's kind of nostalgic, which means his little robot heart is just a mess of conflict, because Rick was the guy he could call when he needed something done on the down-low, and he's hoping that with him around, at least if he needs something, Bradbury can get it down, especially without asking questions.

REALLY HE'S JUST A BIG CONFLICTED MESS RIGHT NOW. He dislikes this. A lot.

UGH APRIL. He sees such potential, and yet such apathy in you. He really likes April,he does, he thinks she's witty, and smarter than she lets on. He wants to see her succeed, but he also just can't get over how she's just so blasé about everything ever. He thinks she would be great in politics if she had passion, but he can't for the life of him figure out why she sticks around in the City. In his own little way, he's trying to teach her how to work like he works, which he knows isn't going over too well, but if he can impart a little bit of his ability to pull long days into her, he thinks he'll have done well.

Although he's never comfortable with how she just...doesn't care about the politics part, because he's so focused on playing the game that sometimes he forgets that people don't always want to play ball.

MAX. Mitchell honestly really likes Max. She's dedicated, smart, quick, and efficient. She's pretty much everything he could want in an intern, and disposition-wise, I think she reminds him quite a bit of January after everything went down in his world, so he's happy she's stuck around. He doesn't really know her like he does the other batcast, since she was from a cartoon, and he's not as familiar with her, or at all, so he has no fucking idea she's Batwoman, which is hilarious!! But really, he wants her to stick around City Hall, because he values her dedication and her input, and he needs more people like her around for his sanity and for the City :')

HEH Oh Jesus Fucking H Christ, Pherson. If there's one person Mitchell doesn't know how to feel about, it's Jack. He's fucking insane, and Mitch knows now exactly what's going on his head, or rather, what it can lead to. He knows Pherson's purpose, and what they're supposed to mean to each other, and he knows now that there are probably multiple Phersons just like there are multiple hims, and it unsettles him entirely.

Beyond that, Pherson is totally a thing of Mitchell's past but he knows that he's Pherson's present, and that's hard for him to deal with, because he doesn't really want to deal with him if he doesn't have to, but he knows he may have to, because it's Pherson, and Pherson isn't really going to let go.

But at the same time, he's just kind of sad, because the guy's a dick, and Mitchell hates him, but god if it wasn't his powers that fucked the guy up. He knows this, and he knows who hands down the powers, and that makes it even worse.

FOR CALENDAR, it's much shorter, Calendar man is an annoyance who keeps fucking things up around town during the holidays, and it's fucking annoying for him, because he can't seem to stay locked away, and that's making him worse and worse in Mitch's eyes.

FOR SENTINEL, he thinks the guy is comically dense. It's kind of sad, actually. SERIOUSLY, either that or Robots with names are like birds and imprinting, because you Transformers call him the first name you can think of and that's annoying.

OKAY, so Mitchell thinks Eridan's a little shit. He can't stand the guy, to be honest, and a lot of that is due to the fact that Eridan fucking killed him. Which really, really means he dislikes him. So he's like, totally cool with Edward saying that they're bffs to piss Eridan off. He's normally not so focused on revenge, but the little bit of pleasure he took from that was enough, and he could tell Eridan wasn't very happy!!

BUT BEYOND THAT, he thinks Eddie wasted his time with Eridan, and he's glad they're through, OR SO HE BELIEVES DUN DUN DUN. So he's really just talking to him because he thinks Eridan is hilarious when jilted. And also because he wants Eridan to know that he could get him locked up at any time.

And he's still a dick. And Mitch thinks he's too big for his britches like 99% of the time.
