[ John isn't sure how he got talked into doing this. Charity event or not, this seems like the dumbest way to try to make a quick buck. He's just got to sit here for a few hours and then his replacement will show up to relieve him of his duty... right? ... The person that talked him into doing this didn't actually specify. ]

[ John sits up and looks around, like he's trying to figure out who she's talking to right now. You know, because she clearly must be chatting to one of the other guys sitting behind the many stalls that aren't actually there. ]

[ Oh... Oh woah!! John looks dumbstruck for a few seconds before leaning over to glance at his own sign. Like the shock of someone actually wanting to pony up some cash while he was running the booth temporarily made him forget the price or something. ]

[She calmly goes through her pocket, and pulls out a dollar. Just the way he was reacting made her want to laugh because it seemed so shocked, and cute.

She hands it over, and just smiles softly at him.]

[ He grins back, and takes the dollar before fishing out a pair of dice. Gonna do it right and roll these suckers to see what kind of kiss he's supposed to be dishing out here.

He clears his throat and looks up. ]

[She kind of flushes, and pats down her skirt to try to dust off imaginary nervous dust because we all know that exists.]

If it worries you, I'll initiate it. [She smiles, though it's a little cracky and worried.] I'm not very good at it either, but I'm just trying to support.

[She leans in over the booth as well, and frantically wonders how in the world a romantic kiss works. She decides to just take it, and just slowly lowers her lips against his, success!]

[ Well that's helpful! Probably... he thinks? It makes it easier in some ways, even if it's kind of unexpected. He'll go with it either way, and hesitate a moment before putting all his weight on one of his arms so he can lift up the other and rest a hand on her cheek.

He's not actually sure if that's romantic or not, but he's seen it done in a lot of movies before, so he figures it's probably a safe bet. ]

[She blushes furiously, and just holds it where it is for a little bit longer, thinking a romantic kiss automatically means wrapping her arms around his neck and shoulders.

It's a little awkward since they're doing this from across the table, but she's in her tippy toes and she manages it. It's relaxing, even though incredibly embarrassing!]

[ John's gotta think of it this way, randomly disappearing for a few days and coming back older at least gave him some height, which makes this whole thing a lot easier than it would have been like a month ago.

Not that he's actually thinking too much about all that, mostly he's thinking about this kiss, and what he's supposed to be doing. He always figured that your mind sort of shut off and you just went with it, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

He'll just... lean forward a little more to make it easier on her, and maybe tilt his head a little more to the side. Is that actually doing anything? He doesn't know, but again... movies. ]

[Nill has already finished her shift and she feels bad that John has to be in on this, too. She places a dollar in his money jar with a smile. He should at least have something to show for it, right?]

[ It is pretty nice of her! John honestly didn't expect to get any customers at all. He can see why Nill would, but he still thinks he was a weird choice of people to ask. He sits up and grins. ]

[Right, that is actually the point of this, right? As much as she doesn't mind just giving him the dollar, what if whoever is in charge of this sees him shirking his duties? The last thing she wants is for him to get in trouble! So Nill shrugs with a smile. Sure, she'll take the kiss if he doesn't mind.]

She thinks Vriska is a pretty cool person, is glad to be her friend, and doesn't want either of those things to change just because she let John kiss her for a charity event. Nill copies him, leaning forward over the booth to meet him.]

[ And going with the assumption that John has ICly rolled a couple of die and his player didn't completely forget to have that happen, John leans to the side and kisses Nill on the earlobe. ... He realizes this has to be the weirdest place to kiss someone, however, and wonders why it's even an option on these things. ]

[Assuming away. And Nill definitely expected a kiss on the cheek or something, not on the ear. Her wings flick and her brows raise, but she sort of just rolls with it, even if she has the urge to bonk her head against his.]

[ He can understand, these are kind of weird rolls, you know? The good news is it wasn't something like a passionate ear make out roll so it's more of a few seconds of pressing his lips to her ear before pulling back. ]
