Never Have I Ever Meme



- Everyone is at a big party. I don't know how we fit this many people into one room either, but bear with me!
- Post an IC or anon comment with a subject that finishes the sentence "never have I ever".

I don't know when or where you're from, so the situation could be totally different back home, but most people are really starting to understand and accept. And marriage is starting to be legal in a lot of places, and there's representation more and more - and, hey, even Game of Thrones had a gay couple that got it on.

Game of Thrones. It's a tv series on HBO based on a series of novels by George R. R. Martin, and it takes place in a fantasy world in which a number of rival houses are vying for the throne of the kingdom - or Kingdoms, as it sort of ends up. Anyway, since it's on HBO there's lots of sex so it was good they included the gay king and his knight. Renly dies, though, it really sucks, he probably would've been a pretty good king all and all, but Loras is still alive and ends up being wedded off to a Lannister instead. Lannisters are the really evil ones, but Tyrion is my favorite character. He's the eldest son of the Lannister family, but he's also a dwarf, so he doesn't really get trusted with anything.

But anyway the point is that even though there's all that straight sex too, even Renly and Loras get their moment together and in season two they talk about Loras a lot more since he's gay, and. Representation is a good thing.

It's a good series, too. That helps.

I know it's not easy. I'm lucky enough to be living in New York and with things the way they are now, it'd definitely a lot easier than people had it in the past, but even then, I used to get the shit beaten out of me all the time at school. That didn't make those people right.

There are things that cannot be controlled that should be dealt with anyway. They are not necessarily always a good thing, and shouldn't be treated as such.
