okay for real though, rose's opinion on eridan is this:

he's a rude little fucker. she doesn't like it when he sasses kanaya. she doesn't like it when he gets all high and mighty and acts like he's king of the oceans. it's embarrassing, eridan.

but, he isn't actually as bad she remembers him being. she's laughed at things he's said a few times, but he can never know. she has also kissed gamzee, so she can understand his burning shame. she does, sometimes, wish they could get on. like, if he weren't such a douche, maybe they could be friends and talk about tentacle monsters or something.
