Hi guys.

So this is me mostly thinking out loud, because I'm really fucking bored and can't really do anything but post to lj. Not posted to the OOC comm even though its semi-serious because I don't trust myself to be coherent right now.

Plotthings.

This wouldn't be happening for a few weeks because:

1) Zombie plot is still kind of fresh
2) I want to wait until I'm done with college
3) I'd need to run it by the mods re: Kel'Thuzad's cult size.

If anyone's been following some of the stuff KT has been saying in other posts, he is pretty adamant about his Cult of the Damned zombie worshipers. However, obviously, not everyone is so readily accepting of that portion of the deal when it comes to equality. So, mind control ability aside, the cultists make droughts to steal away their will and bind them to the Scourge (usually permanently, but obviously not here in C&C).

Would there be anyone interested in this for their character/using it to develop CR with other characters via *~*~rescue~*~* or the *~*~power of friendship~*~* or something of that nature?

THE "INDULGE ME" MEME

How does this work? Well, kind of like this!

1. Comment here with your character.
2. Describe a scene you'd really love to do with them if you ever had a chance.
3. Other people comment to you and offer up their char for said scene.
4. Meanwhile, you go around and offer up your chars for other people's scenes of choice.
5. All of you thread what you want.
6. ???
7. PROFIT!

For your own convenience, I advise that you make a separate thread for every character. It will keep things from getting confused and cluttered. Or do what we did with the last CR meme and just stick a post with your name up and reply to it with one character at a time, that works too!

So I've got this roommate. I KNOW GO FIGURE RIGHT I'm not a total social reject, I actually do have friends.

She's rad, basically. And she's mainly RPing on WoW now and whatever she's a ho. But I'm doing my level best to get her to app to C&C.

I'm trying to get her to app Dr. Sloth from Neopets.

It's time to talk about our PBs! If you have them, of course. You could also talk about how you can't find a PB for your character, or how it's just impossible anyway.

Here's what I do:

1. I visit PB Updates @ IJ to search for the basic parameters
2. Once I pick a face or two, I use Wikicon @ IJ and Find Icons @ IJ to locate icon posts
3. Then I google around to find:
   • any icon posts I might have missed
   • any LJ fan communities of the actor/actress/model
   • any fan sites with galleries of the actor/actress
4. And then I google raw images of them to see if there are any images the icon makers didn't include

And if I'm EXTREMELY HARD UP and can't find a face I like, I will ask Find a PB @ IJ for help. But honestly, 90% of the time they are fucking hopeless. They try, though, and even a broken clock is right twice a day, so it's at least worth a try?

So for me, I have:

When he's not in period costume, he can actually look pretty tough, though I don't think he's ever been in an action film or anything.

I do think she looks a little young for Babs, who would be in her late 20s, early 30s, and she doesn't have glasses. So I was considering switching to Ingrid Michaelson, who was linked to me in one of the anonmemes. Thoughts?
[Bad username or site: reformedrogue title= @ livejournal.com] » Anthony Rapp, also known as the guy from Rent.............. to me, anyway, because I've never seen Rent but that's all I know about him. He usually has a clean, slightly geeky look with the glasses, but the picture I chose has him scruffy, because Piper has been both those things. (He of the magically disappearing facial hair, damn you Countdown.) He also has a certain earnestness about him that I think is fitting.

But I cannot for the life of me find a PB for [Bad username or site: wrongmagician title= @ livejournal.com]. The joke, of course, is that he's Harry Potter, but I'm not going to use Daniel Radcliffe, or any of the PBs that people usually use for Harry or James Potter. He just does not look like them, to me. I would like to have a PB for him because I don't have many comics icons, because the art for the Books of Magic is inconsistent.

I also have HUGE amounts of trouble PBing Tim Drake. Currently I use Ethan Peck, whose curly hair is really at odds with Tim's current floppy hairstyle, or the short/spiked styles of the past. Also, he has a cleft chin, which is not always obvious, but is is a feature Tim doesn't have. His eyes are brown, but I'm willing to excuse that on the grounds that it can be very difficult to find dark-haired light-eyed actors that fit the bill (and besides, Christian Bale's Batman has brown eyes). Any suggestions?
