Hey guys! While cruizin' channels this morning while trying very hard not to have a sinus headache, I've found a special on Discovery Channel HD called "Super Heroes' Guide to New York City." It's pretty cute so far and may be good watching for people who (like me) don't know jack about this town.

So if anybody happens to have that channel and some spare time, the program's on till 10 AM eastern.

So guys they are giving Wonder Woman pants. Pants designed by Jim Lee!! Since when did Jim Lee redesigns result in less skin being shown?

OTOH, drastic re-imaginings can and have brought new life to titles in the past: see Miller's Daredevil, or Giant-Size X-Men. But it's very easy for this sort of stuff to not work out, and have a character get bogged down under the weight of a thousand relaunches. Does GDS have opinions? Or want to talk about Daredevil's special new costume??

Actually no, I do have a reason. It's because of my job. Which is now in the news. And which said news makes us look like total tools. Why? Because of our state budget. Really, the situation's gone beyond ludicrous.
