this is a two-post meme, wherein the first post is solely signups AND THE NUMBER YOU GET IN THIS POST HAS NO VALUE WHATSOEVER OUTSIDE OF THIS POST SO EVEN IF YOU SEE NUMBERS IN THE OTHER POST DO NOT ASSUME YOU STILL HAVE THE SAME NUMBER i just give people sign-up numbers for auditing's sake (i used to miscount like all the time back in 08/09 it was awful)
