Holiday Gift Exchange -- PART ONE :D
Hello everyone!
I am shamelessly copy-pasting from months ago to announce C&C's second . Yup. It's a Secret Santa but not everyone is about Santa so it's a Holiday one. Or a Freedom one. I don't know. It's just a gift exchange for JOY.
The gift-giving will occur on January 6th because it gives us two extra weeks and I'm a little late with this this year and we can fake we live in one of those countries where people give out presents on Epiphany! Maybe some of you do!
How is this going to work?
Basically, everyone can participate, but if you don't think you'll have the time, think about it because expecting a gift and not receiving it is very sad :( The gifts can be pretty much anything ever. Most people go with fanarts and fanfictions but there were a lot of fancy weird stuff last times which was pretty cool :>
STEPS TO FOLLOW:
-Fill the following neat little questionnaire
-Wait for me to do the job and get you a giftee
-You will have to give a gift and you will receive one on January 6th (which means you'll have a bit over a month to complete your gift).
IT'S EASY! :D Sort of.
Subscriptions end in two weeks - on December 2nd, so we can get to the second step of that gift exchange : getting everyone a gifter. The reason I am asking for your email in the questionnaire is to send you all the information about to whom you'll have to give a gift when the time comes. Yes, I will know who my gifter is. Meep.
So, here's the questionnaire to fill out if you want to participate:
Just in case:
Name and livejournal account: Yours, not a character's.
Email: Eeeeeasy~
Theme for a drawing: If your gifter is a visual artist, what would you like as a gift?
Theme for a fanfiction: If your gifter is a writer, what would you like as a gift?
Very general theme or interest: If your gifter is going to sculpt something, or make paper-art, or build something from Legos, or create a silly song, or make sock puppets, or make a fanmix, or just simply may not know the fandoms you named already, is there some general themes that could apply to all of them?
Rating preference for your gift: Do you mind NC-17? Do you WANT NC-17? It obviously also depends on your gifter, if your gifter is not comfortable with 18+ stuff, you won't get any, but it's mostly so you don't get an X-rated gift when you don't want one.
You can answer several things to every question!
Note: Please, do not just write "Any of the characters I play". Name your characters, instead. ie "I'd like anything with Dick or Thom" instead of "I'd like anything with my characters". Thanks!
Note #2: Also if you just ask things with your characters in it and they're all from the same fandom, your gifter may not know about that fandom and will be sad. So make sure the very general theme is very general so your gifter can rely on that if they don't your the fandoms you play in!
When the subscriptions will be closed, I will post another entry full of information about what will then happen. It will be very similar to what happened last year and during the summer.
