You're intelligent and kind (when you want to be), enjoy books, tea, and conversation that isn't focused on the latest sport scores, but something with a bit more substance, you acknowledge your mistakes far better than I've ever been able to, and are likely one of three people I will ever admit to loving in my lifetime that are not family.

My eldest and dearest friend here, who has done me far more kindness than I could ever hope to repay. To think, that I would not be troubled by never knowing his thoughts directly, but rather am consoled by the silence when all is calm. Though...I wish to do more for him. For his burdens. There has to be something that I could do, otherwise...why would I have such powers?

Jason hasn't talked to Batman since his banked a batarang off a wall and into his neck. He didn't make the effort to ever contact Batman again, and neither did Batman try to contact him. He has a sense that this could go differently here, but he's also embittered enough to not even try. He keeps telling himself they have no history and mean nothing to each other. But of course he's still going to react to Bruce much the same way he ordinarily would: admiration, taunting, the same moral arguments. "Who's more predictable? Me? Or you?"

if only he would learn to ask. most of the people shocky's manipulating he wouldn't care if sounds wants to hang around for. at least stalking is not required when in alaska, since he can't really go far

Despite being really pissed off about some of the things she said (especially before he figured out how to encrypt things), he already sort of senses it's no use being pissed off at her. And she's familiar to him, in a weird distant way. It reminds him a little bit of his mother (both his birth and adopted).

You could stand to chill the heck out some, but I guess you aren't that bad.
