SO

So apparently there's a new Transformers videogame, as in, not a tie-in game to the movie coming out. Thing is...

It...

actually looks good.

It's supposed to be a Gears of War style FPS game, and take place in its own continuity, though said continuity is largely going to be inspired by G1 (mostly Dreamwave's War Within comic book series). I was skeptical.



I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT THAT IS PRETTY AWESOME also much nicer looking than Michael Bay amirite

also given that this continuity is supposed to be like "upgraded G1" I am all "That is totally what Cybertron actually looks like y'all."

Oh geez yeah.

Though I already DO like these designs SO much more than the Michael Bay shit. THEY HAVE ACTUAL FACES! ZOMG! It seems a nice compromise.

Yeah, I can forgive a lot more when it comes to 'original Cybertron modes,' too. I mean THE WHOLE THING IS ON CYBERTRON THAT IS AWESOME. NO SQUISHIES. TC doesn't even have to be 'flying pyramid' to make me happy. :)

HOW IN THE WORLD IS THUNDERCRACKER A CONFIRMED CHARACTER BEFORE STARSCREAM? Dare we hope for Skywarp as well?

I DID spot a Seeker in that trailer (he is HARD to see) but he does look pretty Flying Pyramid, so I am pleased >3

I HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA. My theories are either that Starscream is just ASSUMED, or he won't be playable... because he's going to be a bossfight/villain for the 'con side. Andohgod Skywarp would just fff. He'd be perfect for a game like this because of his unique power. He'd be that horribly irritating guy who's like BAMF *blam* BAMF and you're like STOP TELEPORTING SO I CAN KILL YOU

In other words, what he is in canon ;)
