Knives: ...kind of self-explanatory, though I really do wonder exactly how a pacifist like Rem ended up naming a small child after sharp objects. :|

Slade: Interesting bit of trivia I discovered is that Slade is the name of a band. It is also the last name of a singer (Isaac Slade) whose back ground reminds me of Jericho a bit.

Rudy: It has German roots that mean "famous wolf". Not really sure if it fits, but there ya go!

Oh man, it always surprises me how much I'm willing to tune out common nouns when they're used as a name. I ALWAYS FORGET THAT KNIVES = KNIVES.
