→ pros: I know this book very well, there would be a lot of adjustment issues to play out, he'd be able to provide some sort of political commentary on the situation (sometimes)
→ cons: is a superhero setting really appropriate for him? one of his key factors is that he's an average citizen.

a creepy, balding, telepathic villain who pulled off the most effective genocide in her canon ⇒ cassandra nova (x-men)
→ pros: huge meticulous plotting enabled, creepy psychological fun, a villain!
→ cons: lots of character depth I need to bring across, huge meticulous plotting necessary, exhausting playing a villain, I would never be able to use my icons because they creep me out, wtf is a mummudrai anyway

a sweet derpy boy who understands all languages ⇒ doug ramsey/cypher (x-men)
→ pros: he's friendly and can tag around, potential fun to be had with his language power, his BFFs are in the City
→ cons: his voice might sound too much like alex's, what would I do with him in the City?

Why does Morrison make a billion times more sense when he writes X-Men than he does when he writes Batman?

I had to reread his New X-Men stuff a million times before I got his plot, though, I felt stupid like that :/

Although The Return of Bruce Wayne is one big fan-geek fest of "THIS IS HOW COOL BRUCE IS LOOK AT HOW COOL THIS DUDE IS FUCK YEAH." and I can not help but approve.

I just read it this morning and my summery is below.

Batman is currently unstuck in time and he fought Vandal Savage with Caveboy Robin and then he was a pilgrim fighting Cthulhu or something and his next adventure is with Blackbeard and he's secretly a doomsday weapon and will destroy the 21st century if he ever gets home and he's also chilling at the end of the universe pretending to be a robot.

Doug! Doug. Go with Doug. Doug. Doug and Illyana can bond over how they're them but not really the "them" everyone remembers. I don't think he'd be like Alex at all. He's kind of got the whole Illyana not speaking much and being all ~dark~ thing going on now too.

My reasons for voting for Cassandra are totally selfish since I play Emma and all but she'd be a fun villain. I imagine you wouldn't be able to hold onto her for long though, kind of like Emplate she's so outwardly villainous that she probably wouldn't be able to blend in like Maddie can.

While I didn't vote for her I can say that Rachel would probably be a lot of fun, I have a character similar to her at another game and they're a ton of fun. They'd probably actually get along.She'd probably do good in a proactive environment where she wouldn't really have to adjust to "civilian" style life.
