Aphrodite loves her little mortal housemate. Unfortunately it's in the same way that Tony might talk about loving a dog. Sorry. It's just that Aphrodite is so full of herself and her status as Goddess that very few mortals are ever seen as more than cute little things to play with. She is grateful to him for everything he's done for her, which is why she gave him Wanda. She didn't know how badly it will blow up in her face! But she definitely feels that she owes Tony so he'll be offered something that he actually wants later not her.
