To make this more relevant... Tell me, C&C, what's your favorite insult?* Was it here? Shakespeare? Comics? That dude that sleeps on the corner?

Perhaps we can all take turns yelling them at LJ.

Hahaha YES. I watched that just last night. :'] Hilarious. And it's got In Bruges and The Usual Suspects in it, so I can't not love it.

I'm horrible at insults, though. I say things like "goodness gracious" and "egads" and "darn." :< I may watch that video again and pick out my favorites in there.

I'm getting them in this weird, backwards way. Like I got yours pretty quick, but I see there's other comments on this post that I haven't gotten. I got a couple tags this morning that were from a day and a half ago, and there was a two-hour delay on some.

It's so aggravating to me right now.

My favorite is 'your mother sucks cocks in hell'. My mom and I also frequently tell each other, 'your mother sews socks that smell', which is from an SNL parody of The Exorcist from the 70's.

My favorite insult isn't really an insult.

A friend at camp and I decided to play around with Japanese holiday names one time and we managed to turn Obon into "please, if you'd be so kind, hang upside down in hell and suffer". That was five-ish years ago. We still yell it at each other when we're annoyed.

And notifs still fail me. So much. I want LJ to hang upside down in hell and suffer.

My favorites are on there! Chevy Chase's little breakdown in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation tops my list, but they cut it out before it finished! "HALLELUJAH---HOLY SHIT WHERE'S THE TYLENOL"

I also love the bits from A Fish Called Wanda "You poMPOUS, STUCK UP, ETC ETC" by Kevin Kline and "Don't call me stupid--" "OH RIGHT TO CALL YOU STUPID WOULD BE AN INSULT TO STUPID PEOPLE." They cut that one out before it got good, too. "I WEAR DRESSES WITH HIGHER IQ's."

It depends what I'm using it for. For srs insulting, it's a C-bomb every time. If I'm going to use it, I like to drop it in politely and watch their face as they skirt past it then come to a grinding halt when their brain processes what I said.

and also, Monty Python's: I empty my nose in your general direction!

But I also love that one from Excalibur #89. 'If you mean he's a rude, unpleasant toe-rag, then say so.' Makes me chortle.
