Oh man, I am so jumping on this goddamn bandwagon.
I WILL ALSO TAKE
DRABBLE REQUESTS
Because I love drabbles (and there's also that 1000 requests drabble meme in my journal that will never get finished but jxjhfkldjfasdf)? And also because I have two hours to kill now and another hour to kill after my next class. AND I AM BORED. And I like bandwagons, they are comfy. I also agree that while I cannot draw, I LIKE WRITING FICS and look at me contributing is fun and SCIENCE, I AM WORKING ON YOUR MANIPS BUT I CANNOT DO THEM AT SCHOOL so here we are. OH AND ALSO because I know HOW FRUSTRATED it makes me that I always get to request posts late and I've never had a request filled as a result. So you overflow people who missed the first drabble request post LOOK. THERE IS ALSO ME, I WILL WRITE YOU A CONSOLATION PRIZE DRABBLE.
BUT YES.
Give me people. If I don't know who they are, give me references. I will give you a drabble (which for me is any fic under about 500 words?)
*HUNKERS DOWN*
REQUESTS:
1. Sera and Tess-Serenity Rose
2. Fred and Crispin-Psychonauts
3. 'Doulybeen and Draven'
4. Jason and Sirius BFF
5. Jesse and Cass
6. River and The Joker
7. Cyclops+General X-Men
EDIT: OKAY I AM GOING TO CLASS SOON. If I don't fill yours now, I'll be back in a while. <3

When Sera wasn't locked in her room painting shifting figures on canvas or listening to music or pondering whether or not it was worth it to go all the way to the refrigerator for an ice pop, she was usually spending time with Tess. Often, this was not of her own free will.
"COME ON," screeched the redhead. "YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO SEND ECTO-MONKEYS TO CHASE TIPHANY UNTIL HIS FANGS FALL OUT."
Usually it ended up being something along those lines--mayhem, chaos, shitty local bands. Sometimes she'd wake up and Tess would just be sitting on the couch, watching her TV and eating year-old chocolate easter bunnies. In these cases, on the days where Tess was not immediately demanding she leave the house, Sera would sit and draw while Tess investigated the seemingly never-ending collection of knick-knacks in her room.
And when there was a day where Sera refused to talk to anyone, when she locked herself in her room and wouldn't even open for her sister, Tess knew when to stay away and when to batter down the door and haul her outside into the cloudy day. It was the only restraint she was capable of showing, but it was the only kind she needed.

ALSO, Doul wants to talk to River about Things, since he's still half-convinced she might be a prophet.

River+ The Joker
From the moment he'd appeared in the city, a terrible dark little blot on her consciousness, River had hated the Joker. Hated. It was not to be confused with 'dislike' or 'fascination.' She wanted nothing to do with him. She wanted to scour him out of her brain.
She kept quiet and drew pictures in a book she kept next to the couch. She would draw him in various states of distress, various states of decay and mutilation, but usually smiling just the same. One day she left it out on the coffee table after a long, therapeutic session with paper and pen. When she came back and saw his face on the table, it made her so angry that she stabbed her pen straight through the notebook and into the coffee table itself. It left a hole that Selina tried to get her to explain. She refused, only indicating that she had to 'rub it out.' Just one more case of the words not quite coming, though she wasn't sure she could explain why he made her so angry even if she could coherently do so.
When they finally met face to face, in the middle of a conflict that threatened to rend the city from its roots, she was ready. She'd analyzed the angles, she'd probed the edges of his dark little blot, always shying away before getting to close. She did not, not, not want to go in there. She knew what it would be like--all mazes and mirrors and never ending hallways and screaming and blood and neckties and flowers. Cartwheels. She didn't want to go in there.
But even without that extra bit of perspective, she was prepared. He had a gun, some toys, and a wicked sense of humor.
To the fight, she brought a shovel. He laughed and asked her why she'd bring a shovel to a gunfight. She dropped it at her feet and said, "To bury you with." Then she went in.
She would kill him and she would bury him somewhere no one would find him and she would pat down the dirt over his grave, grow grass over it, erase it. No one would know that anyone had ever been buried there. She had to rub it out.
