no you see the crochet was a way for him to release his tensions and be productive without stamping license plates and without giving him the advantage of knitting needles or the ability to sew anything to anything else.

Jan would make an arsenal of snowballs filled with broken glass and concrete chunks and try to nail Yusuke with them as vengeance. And would get his jaw broken because he's a cocky asshole.

God Atsuko would just be oblvious. Yusuke comes trotting back inside cover in snow and bruises and cuts from the snowballs of death and she'd just be like "Why is your aunt screaming again?" nevermind that her only son is a mess.
