I meditate every day with my lasso, Dr. Crane. While I admit that even I am not free of self-deception, I know myself better than most.

Ahhh.

But no one's brave enough to accept everything they are. The truth--the whole truth, is psychologically devastating. The mind writhes frantic to spin fantasies, construct false certitudes, outright deny with spitting fire anything that so much as breathes counter to its beliefs.
