but in other news, it's always so strange to see busy urban streets to me then again, my nearest urban center is detroit, so everything is busy by comparison
but still people using sidewalks............*gapes at
...also, City sounds are win. I just leave that open, because you can hear the wind and how it's rattling the camera. I live in VA, so...I know snow. We got buried in it last year. I love to watch it come down, I just hate to drive in it.
you'll be getting thrashed with snow and cold this week, too, won't you? i saw that canada's puking this massive cold nightmare all across the east straight on down to georgia that is going to make the commuting week EXTREMELY PLEASANT
it's just flurries out here atm i am not excited about night driving tonight..
Oh that's going to be fun. B| Fuck you, Canada. Keep your snow puke to yourself.
...I am never excited about driving in snow. I did a complete donut last winter in order to avoid a white car sitting in an intersection with their lights off.
I felt like James Bond for a moment before the "OH SHIT" set in.
I'm just glad we made it this far without it being super-snowy. Though with that in mind, it probably means we'll have snow in like, April/May which is even alkgdjasdga worse.
I want to move somewhere with a more mild climate, sob.
I used to live 2 hours north from NYC so we'd go down at least once a year. More when I was at New Paltz since there was a bus to the MTA station across the river :D (and sometimes campus would even have trips down.)
Nice! When I was taking Art at George Mason, we had to make an annual trip up to the artsy places and go around NYC. I drooled over the Vermeer stuff. He's still my favorite.
Ahhhh NICE. I mean, I have a bookmark at intellicast.com for NYC so anytime I need to reference the weather I get it right, but that's even more glorious. I like being able to SEE...
Especially the next time there's a giant snowstorm and I want to know just how evil the roads are. :D

...I don't want to go outside. :| I'm a wimp. If I could 60F would be my ideal temperature. It is 38F here.

My ideal is around 70, depending on what the humidity is like. :lb It's a bit warmer than that here, but freezing in the house >< stupid old houses.

I'm in a quiet neighborhood, so I have to find ways of bringing the city to me. XD
