Birds of Prey PAR-TAY

This is for ANYONE who's got a character in the Birds of Prey:

After chatting with Oracle-mun and Felicia-mun not long ago, we thought a BoP party would be cool, and Jillian's given me the go-ahead: All the Birds will be invited to a Holiday party. It's been awhile since the Birds had a meet'n'greet and there are some new members on board, so beyond the seasonal thing it will be a good chance for team members to meet and do anything from chat to form partnerships to go on missions with, etc.

I will be posting the log. Maggie not having her sisters to spend Christmas Eve with will be causing her to overcompensate and make enough cake and snacks to feed the entire City. Yes she does actually have a skill/hobby that isn't reading.

Who is around/up for this?

Do you have any preferences for when the log goes up? (I was thinking early next week--with encouragement to post whenever you can--I know it's a busy time of year so people should feel free to tag when they can and not feel like, "OMG, if I can't post between 10-11 PM on Tuesday, I just can't post at all!" Should be a very fun, low pressure sort of thing.)

WHERE SHOULD THIS BE? If there are no preferences, I'm going to assume it's the same generic training zone location previous meet'n'greets have happened.

I hope GDS is okay for this message; this did not quite seem "plot relevant" enough for OOC. (I always fret way too much over where to post stuff like this.)

When is the party going to be? Because, Quatre will be around on certain days this month, but not others. Like right now, he's in Mexico Brazil.

It can be whenever the most people can attend. I can't think of any reason why it absolutely MUST be on a specific day, especially if it would mean excluding someone.

No later than evening of the 18th, but hopefully by the 16th, after which he'll be plot locked by Edgeworth's party until 6PM on the 22nd. At this point, most 'holiday' parties tend to turn into Christmas parties. He's kinda Muslim. So, I have a pretty small window.

And the person hosting this is a pretty secular-minded Hong Konger. This is more like, "Hey, let's have a party, and look it's December," kind of thing. The priority is for BoPpers to have a meet-and-greet, not to celebrate any particular holiday.

So... December 17 maybe?

Actually, I'm confused now because I looked at the recent action plot post and it said it was going to end by the 19th.

Since you're involved in the plot, please tell me the day that would work best for Quatre. That would make it much easier on me. Thank you very much.

It should all be done by the 18th, in time for the start of the Christmas party on the 19th.

Honestly, it might be better to figure out what days work best for other people as I'm not sure Quatre will go, just because he may be too exhausted from other plots and parties. There's other IC reasons, but they aren't something I want to discuss here.

Fair enough. We'll see what other folks say, and it will likely be latish December anyway--so do what's best for your character. I hope he can "pop in" at least and if not hopefully we can have another meet'n'greet soon.

I am... actually not sure! I know that she's signed up for Remus & Miles' LOL YOU'RE STUCK party, and she's spending Christmas Eve/Christmas with Lassiter, but Selina is also having a party that will be thrown by Zatanna and... lmao, well, there's that.
