I'm trying to give you the distance you want. But I can't just not care about someone, even if I do get hurt.

And everyone deserves a friend. Even if you may have done something that makes you think you don't, you aren't a horrible person. You worry about others as much as I do, I think. I can't believe anyone who cares that much would be a bad person.
