What is it with this place, people, and power? I'm serious, it's not as great as you'd think. Useful, that's it, and normally there are caveats.

You're not usin' it right.

Bein' powerful is the ability to say "fuck you, I don't need anythin' besides my own volition and wit." It's a badge a honor, and more importantly, it's a vehicle in which to do what you want regardless a what others think a you personally.

Sure, there's always certain sacrifices to be made, but if you want somethin' bad enough, then that's not exactly gonna matter in the end.

Hah. People without power can do that too, you know. Power's the thing you need to control other people. Maybe change the world, but it's nothing for one person. If you need it to tell someone to fuck off, that's pretty sad.

I'd rather have the power to tell 'em to fuck off via beheadin' than just spittin' in their face. Though I'd probably do that before the execution anyhow.
