It's just...I had something good, Zee, for once in my life. And I screwed it up like everything else.

I don't want to say that it's for the better, since I don't necessarily believe it... but I do believe that everything happens for a reason.

And what about when the reason is because I was wrong? That I left her hanging when she needed me most?

You can't beat yourself up for something that can't be changed. Sometimes, there's... I guess, there's only a small window to make a certain thing happen in your life. I want to say that you can't pine for that person, that window forever, but... but that would just make me a hypocrite.
