LET'S TALK ABOUT OCS: THE POST

So guys you know how every once in awhile we do those spam threads of like... every character account we own.
Can we do that for OCs this time? Except having accounts for them is optional and talking about them and their stories are preferred.
I am on such a kick of my own lately and I want to smell the originality emanating from dis hurr comm.

If you are confused about what I'm talking about see this beauteous thing.
Alright? Is this alright?
Then let's do eet.

The Mirror | Jason Jones

SO THIS ONE TIME GEORGIA GOT THIS AWFUL IDEA THAT SHE SHOULD WRITE A YA NOVEL ABOUT TEEN SUPERHEROES

It was going to star this epic dork, named Jason Jones alias The Mirror. In my original drafts he was a rather moody little emo jerk but I think if I were to rewrite it now I would make him much, much more goofy. There were a lot of nerdy geek elements in my drafts and I'd emphasize that. He was pretty awkward around girls, struggled to ~get~ the closeted jock who would grudgingly become his best friend, had no social skills to speak of, etc.

His superpower was being the worst hero. Okay, no. Really, his powers were flight and superstrength... and absolutely no healing factor speak of. So, honestly, he REALLY shouldn't be out heroing. But he couldn't help it! Because it was fun, you know, except for all the pain and stuff. Plus it was super rewarding to help people out.

Which kind of surprised him because he was a deeply little cynical snot concerning the ever-present superheroes in his world. Who, for all intents and purposes, were pretty much shallow celebrities in spandex. Though there was also some anti-mutant or whatever the hell I decided to call them sentiment floating around as well.

In particular, Jason had a beef with the head hero honcho, this smarmy but well-liked guy named... I wish I was joking... The Man. (Oh, teenie me, NO.) As it would turn out, he was secretly a serial killer! So those feelings were justified.

and in the end he was going to die tragically, foreshadowing an entire book's worth of hinting that being a superhero was a terrible idea, but at least he'd beat the bad guy

wait i also forgot to explain the nickname.

SO.

"The Mirror" was going to come up near the very end of the novel after a whole book full of waffling over increasingly idiotic names but none of them as stupid as what I decided on for my villian augh why

Anyway! After finding out the truth about what he really was, Jason would take the codename used during his "creation" and vow to be the complete opposite of the douchebag he was "born" from
