Specifically, what does your character find attractive in others? it could be physical traits, personality traits, hobbies, that Sims-esque heart-shaped hot tub full of somebody else's blood in their back room, anything - what do they look for in a prospective partner? do they admit to looking for these things? do they event realize they look for these things? Marceline likes bad boys! She's been weened off of this, mostly, since her last serious boyfriend was a huge dickhead (see icon), but it's still kinda there! So she appreciates whatever the Adventure Time version of a grungy rocker aesthetic is, as well as a sort of... dickish attitude, but she can also be attracted to more normal, "good" for her people! It just comes with a lot of playful attitude about how prissy they are. Either way, they can't be a pushover! She also has daddy issues, okay? Okay. All of these things are things she would pretty much never cop to, though, because she's an emotionally constipated spoon and that's how she rolls. SPOILERS, THIS WILL NEVER MANIFEST IN GAME BECAUSE SHE'S A FUCKING SPOON. LEAH DON'T PLAY THAT.
Aradia isn't looking, and never really was the type to deliberately look for anyone to be in a relationship with! This is something she'd be open about, if anyone ever cared to ask, which she won't. She's a pretty independent girl, and also six solar sweeps you guys. EITHER WAY her ideal type would probably be fun-loving and funny and kind, someone who she can go on adventures with and who isn't aggressive, creepy, bigoted, or unhinged. Physically, she doesn't have many preferences! She just wants someone who's willing to do the right thing and can share her stupid enthusiasm about ruins and shit.
SO WHY THE FUCK IS SHE DATING EQUIUS YOU MIGHT ASK i don't know either BUT OKAY. Equius was someone who, when alive, she disliked very much, and as a robot, he was one of the few people who she was actually able to feel anything for on rare occasions (SPOILERS THE FEELING WAS "WHAT A DOUCHEBAG"), plus someone who shared her destructive tendencies. Now that she's alive again, she hates him less and has warmed to him a lot more and isn't sure of what to do! But since she has plenty of pity, which as we all know is the foundation of any healthy matespritship, she's just going to call it that for the time being. Troll relationships sure are weird.
