and it's my turn! Specifically, what does your character find attractive in others? it could be physical traits, personality traits, hobbies, that Sims-esque heart-shaped hot tub full of somebody else's blood in their back room, anything - what do they look for in a prospective partner? do they admit to looking for these things? do they event realize they look for these things? Do they look at all?

Tali likes someone who holds steady to their ideals and will be patient with her re: her crippling inability to accurately convey how she feels about someone without being hideously awkward about it. She needs to be able to trust someone deeply to even start to develop romantic feelings for them; growing up as a quarian meant that the only way to be in contact with someone in a romantic manner was to remove her suit or link it to another quarian's suit. Both of these things inevitably end up with the quarian in question becoming sick, so it's a huge commitment. As of Tali's entrance into the game, she has yet to link her suit with anyone. She is a romantic virgin in all senses of the term because she's always put her work ahead of pursuing a relationship, and as a result she's pretty idealistic when it comes to what she expects. While she's human here and doesn't have to worry about the whole 'getting sick and almost dying' aspect of intimacy, she still holds on to all the hang-ups she developed because of her suit...but at the same time will probably feel a little more secure with 'experimenting' because there's less risk involved in her human form.

Andromeda likes ... oh, gosh. She's still a Slytherin first and foremost, so while her love interests do not necessarily have to be someone who's ambitious, they do have to be someone she feels like she's on equal footing with. They need to be able and willing to challenge her regularly, and they can't be a doormat for her opinions. With Ted, the first thing that attracted her to him was his staunch unwillingness to stop hitting on her despite her constantly shutting him down. Then he got creative with his wooing attempts and ... well, they had a pretty happy marriage out of it!

She likes 'bad boys' in the sense that she's attracted to people who got outside of what her established societal norms entail (not rich, not snobbish, not completely dull and proper), but not in the sense that she's attracted to recklessness. Just the opposite, in fact.

AS FAR AS in game right now, because she's still on the heels of her husband dying and then losing the near-entirety of her family, I can see her kind of going one of two ways with romance. She'll either end up having a series of selfish flings with others that blow up in her face and eventually find one that she just can't seem to shake, or she's going to just try to quash any and all romantic urges out of guilt over Ted and fear of judgment from the Pottercast (particularly Nymphadora, for obvious reasons). Probably some combination of those two options, actually.

On a side note, I'm up for potential relationship plotting with both my girls as long as it's vaguely feasible!
