The severe lack of suits is always a disappointment! He also probably misses a fair bit of the manners that people used to have, and how everything just seems so busy. In some ways, it's exciting, but he just finds it a shame that nobody goes out to a jazz show for the evening!

He also probably misses the Prohibition because it was an easy way to make money, and it would probably have been something that Ladd could have used if he wanted to make money for himself. In the modern times, it's all drugs, and Ladd has no idea how stuff like that works!
