Hey, guys! Guess what time it is? It's time to talk about................. our feelings.

♥ post with your characters
♥ respond to other people's characters with your characters
♥ they tell you in detail what their character thinks of your character, ic or ooc! tl;dr is enouraged.
♥ then you react if you want!
♥ other people do the same thing to you! maybe you harvest your tl;dr to use in a CR chart later!
♥ this was stolen from a thousand billion people goddamn but here is an example of how it goes down

Anyway! Raphael straddles a couple different categories for Ruka, the main ones being "older, probably-Teenage (but no older than 24) Boy who will treat me like a little sister" and "natural non-human/monster," with the respect that the latter term isn't derogatory and she gets upset at people who use it as an insult since yu-gi-oh.
The first of these leads to "if something happens to me, or I need help, I can probably ask him to bail me out, but I'll probably suffer a lecture or twenty," while the second falls under "it is my responsibility to defend him when necessary." Destined duties, you know!
She really appreciates the effort he's going through to teach her to overcome her injury with regards to archery, but he is never ever going to get her to call him Sensei unless they are for some reason in Japan, or she is talking to another native Japanese speaker.

Like I think I've mentioned before, Ruka sees a lot of potential in John to be sort of like Yusei when he gets older -- DO THE WINDY THING, PROTECT EVERY GODDAMN FRIEND EVER, TAKE ALL THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERY BAD THING THAT EVER HAPPENS TO THEM EVER -- though at this point a lot easier to get to know and with far fewer instant-anger buttons. He's cute, and he treats her well enough, and he actually listens to her -- all very positive things! But she worries he's going to wind up with a guilt complex the size of Jupiter when he gets older, either in his own world or in the City.
Definitely roots of a crush there, but feels like there's really no point in trying to pursue it.

Probably would not ever want to meet in person, but Network phone calls seem safe enough.

Ruka: UNSURE. He seemed decent enough the first time he was here, and she would like to be friends, but in her head she's pretty much convinced he'll be gone by April.

Also he looks like the other her and he likes cockatoos and he indulges her need to dress people up in Amano fashion. What's not to like?

Like ever, Terra likes Spidey and considers him a friend (and totally wears that scarf he gave her because it's cute with absolutely no care as to temperature; he will probably notice in like. August. when she still wears it around), but after his whole flip-out on her with regards to killing BLIND AND POWERLESS ILLIDAN, she felt somewhat guilty. But because she doesn't want to feel guilty for killing Illidan -- especially since hey, he hasn't come back yet maybe this means he's gone for good -- she's sort of holding it against Spidey for confronting her about it. It didn't matter much to her when it was complete strangers telling her off for it, but he's her friend and thus what he says matters more.
or tldr STOP MAKING HER FEEL BAD FOR FOLLOWING HER JRPG ROOTS, SPIDEY!!

On top of that, in the first round he seemed to put a lot of focus on trying to get her to care about the suffering she caused the ImPorts and to feel guilty for what she did to people like Katurian and Nill. And, spoilers, she is never, ever going to regret her actions or feel bad for hurting them. If Vulcanus hadn't backstabbed her, she would have been perfectly content repeating the process. So the fact he wouldn't let that go and didn't seem to understand that she was being honest in saying she didn't give a shit about their feelings was pretty annoying!
Since his focus doesn't do anything to accomplish her goals, she doesn't consider him worth her level attention. SORRY VIC.

POTENTIAL COMRADE IN KATTOBING. Yuma and Goku are pretty similar in spirit and I can definitely see them running across town doing stupid teenage boy parkour stuff. And because they're similar, it means Yuma doesn't have to worry as much about being insulted (for his skill/intelligence/appearance/etc), which for someone who's been bullied most of his life is a really nice change of pace!
Yuma appreciates Goku's offers to break him out of the hospital, even if he didn't accept them. FRIENDS FOR LIFE.

Candy - Jack

Major: Fucking Nazi, why are you still here?
Jack: He is, whether he likes it or not, one of the actual "authority" figures in the City, though she knows he'd much, much rather be in his own. Unlike other characters who fall willingly into the role the City's given them, he has an undercurrent of wanting out.
She appreciates that, despite going to him and the Police about it, it hasn't leaked who was responsible for attacking her. If there's ever anything she can do to help him out (knowing full well how unlikely that is), she'd offer in an instant.
CANDY ON JACK: It's not accurate to say she likes him or trusts him, but he was very, very quick on the uptake. He catches on to the things that need to be done and the questions that usually need to be asked -- he usually overshoots/overestimates how much she knows (but whether that's through misunderstanding her level of involvement or just being hopeful/thorough, it's harder to tell; at least she can see the usefulness of the information he wants, unlike some others), but he finds the target eventually.
She doesn't for a moment believe he's actually sincere about that whole "will protect you if you help us take down Vulcanus" promise.
