no, okay, lust actually can kinda appreciate bellatrix! not only is she extremely useful and lacking in one of those silly moral cores, which is obvs the paramount factor as far as lust is concerned, but she's also got pretty much all of the characteristics that add up to make someone lust is down with! which mostly means that she's loyal and appears to be devoted to some cause greater than herself (ALBEIT CLEARLY NOT AS GREAT AS LUST'S CAUSE), and also likes to torture people, all of which are clearly fantastic. she's very much interested in cultivating their budding uh, ally... whatever the fuck thing is happening there, although she is somewhat weirded out by the dating norman thing. BELLA, YOUR TASTE...
lust's capacity to form meaningful connections with other people is like, hovering just above nil, so it can't really be called a friendship. but compared to the other relationships she has it's like fucking sisterhood of the traveling pants material, and there's a certain degree of shared experience there which she has yet to really dig into! like any other alliance she's ever had, it's also highly conditional! lust would stab her in the back if it proved necessary or just highly beneficial, and she trusts that she'd do the same. she'd also, uh, hit that if she thought it would somehow cement the alliance or benefit her in some way! mildly deranged cruelty is a turn-on, okay.
