six months ago!! I get to ask it again and also it's one of my favorite notmemes!!

Anywho, what does your character find attractive in others? it could be physical traits, personality traits, hobbies, that Sims-esque heart-shaped hot tub full of somebody else's blood in their back room, anything - what do they look for in a prospective partner? do they admit to looking for these things? do they even realize they look for these things? Do they look at all?

Tali likes men who are willing to take risks for the right reasons and that can see the bigger picture. She likes men who lead and will be more than willing to follow them into battle and ... let's be honest, into the bedroom. She's sexually inexperienced (hello, extremely isolating bio-suit), but it's been shown in-canon that once she gets over her initial nervousness she isn't afraid to be a little more aggressive about things. That said, she has to build up a trust with the person before she'll even consider anything past fleeting attraction. She also needs a good deal of reassurance (moreso at home than here in the City, where she can actually exist outside her suit feasibly) that she isn't holding the person back from anything else they should be doing, and that she makes that person happy. I think once the relationship is established she'll be fine, but that is a definite thing that she will require at first. Patience is important too for obvious reasons, since working through her ~*feelings*~ is not her strong suit when it comes to romance.

Andromeda is attracted to men that remind her of her dead husband -- not that she's going to admit such a thing out loud, but. Ted was more than willing to take a risk by continuing to pursue Andromeda when she was still more or less disgusted by the idea of dating someone lower-blooded than her, and that persistence is something that she enjoys immensely. In some ways she's still a very traditional born-in-the-50s sort of lady who wants to be taken on dates and wooed, but now that she's in the City and is, honestly, lonely, she's more willing to express to potential partners that she's interested. Andromeda needs someone to need her, at least in some way -- whether it's to tidy the house, or to be someone to lean on. She likes a certain level of challenge to her relationships, even if this has so far resulted in a number of them dead-ending. Heh.
