And Pat Benatar, for good measure. Basically, he likes old school classic rock, all-American sounding stuff and basically things with steady beats. He's fairly straightforward, that way.

So I say he likes classical music and other instrumental stuff--his favorite composers are Vivaldi and Rachmaninoff, though he probably has a taste for Beethoven, too. If he liked mainstream stuff, he'd probably have a penchant for rap because yay for anger!! But such things are beneath him, of course.
