Try to fight a psychic with another psychic, the strongest one wins. And technology, well, it marches on.

Magic works at a fundamentally different level, one where the same rules don't apply. Use the right spell, and even if someone knows where the wards are, they won't now how to get through them.

It's more than brute force, you have to apply strategy, as well.
