HE DOESN'T ABSOLUTELY HATE ROSE FROM THE BOTTOM OF HIS SMALL BLACK SOUL ANYMORE mostly because htey never interact?? so it takes the hate edge off, and he can pretend he wasn't totally into her at some point in time who even does that. Now it's just kind of a casual dislike rooted both in threatening his moirail and being what Eridan assumes is Kanaya's matesprit.
