HE PROBABLY DOTES ON RUKA NGL because first girlfriend!! and first matesprit that wasn't also emotionally invested in stabbing him nonfatally!!!

really, though, he's got it bad. she was his totally cool sensible friend for like a year and a half, so she already knows all of his eccentricities and to expect the occasional murder plot (whether or not he goes through with it), and he feels comfortable in telling her pretty much anything! basically, he's still kind of a sucky and selfish enough boyfriend to want to cause city-wide riots (that might put her in danger), but he cares enough to call her beforehand and outline which areas she should stay out of in particular.
