Obviously, Jen and Clint were not always bros! I think he felt threatened by her, in the beginning, and also was just an ass and wanted to throw his weight around. But they've long since gotten past that, to the point where he is at times in love with her but ultimately always just loves her, in a way that goes beyond infatuation or romance. He trusts her, enjoys spending time with her, and will always care about her. She's one of his most solid connections in the City, as well, and he relies upon her immensely.
