NEVER HAVE I EVER MEME

- Everyone is at a big party. I don't know how we fit this many people into one room either, but bear with me!
- Post an IC or anon comment with a subject that finishes the sentence "never have I ever".
- If you see something your character has done, reply with them taking a shot! If they've done it many times, have them take many shots or down an entire bottle. Shots do not need to be alcohol, especially not for underage characters.

I assumed that-- that that was off limits. If I knew, I would said something earlier. I would have said something at April's party.

[A bit surprised:] Why would such a thing be forbidden? I encourage you to experiment, don't I? Isn't that what I say our type does?

[He steps closer. Little by little.]

No, it isn't just a test. [The misunderstanding runs deep, and Eddie really thinks that Katurian assumed he demanded that his allies stay celibate.

He chalks it up to Katurian being from a repressed totalitarian world.]

[He should be able to express himself. Katurian reaches, unthinkingly, for Edward's cheek.]

Yes.

Oh, ah. [Eddie glanced at that hand on his face, without making much movement.] Well, I'm glad we agree.

[In another circumstance, Katurian might have answered verbally -- a quiet 'okay' or 'me too' or something of the like. But the build up is too much and the release is too necessary.

Instead, he leans forward to kiss him.]

[Eddie jerks, realizing only too late the misunderstanding. He grabs Katurian by the hips, forcibly making distance as he turns his head, feeling that warm breath on his cheek instead.]

Heel.

[Katurian hangs there, frozen, suspended by Edward's arms.]

I d-didn't-- I thought we-- I thought you--

[He shrinks.]

You did a little projecting there, didn't you? [He's not angry, not at all, but he isn't trying to guise his amusement.]

[Katurian trembles and shakes and trembles and-- nods, his eyes averted.]

You were talking about-- about partners in crime. I didn't think--

Because I often sleep with my partners in crime. [A quick, sharp look.] But not all of them.

[With his eyes down at the ground, his body a trembling statue, he doesn't catch the look. He reaches down, slowly, to take Edward's hand off his hips.]

Not me.

[Eddie lets him, because he knows this is a delicate situation. He knows he shouldn't push, he knows he needs to consider Katurian's emotional state (because he doesn't want this backfiring), he knows how to work with a tenuo--]

Why does everyone thing I'm sexually interested in men?

[Welp.]

It might be all the touching.

[Touches Katurian's face! Sensually! To prove this!]

[Under the gentle touch of his ill-advised man crush, Katurian somehow manages to not to wilt where he stands.

He does, however, tighten his grip on Eddie's hand to an absurd degree.]

Ah. [The wince is immediate. He glances down at his squished hand.] Ah.

You're hurting me.

[More surprised than accusatory.]

[Something in Katurian's expression shifts, his mouth twisting upward into a smile. He releases Edward's hand in an instant--

-- and then reels back his fist, aiming a punch straight for the other man's face.]

[The fist connects with Edward's chin and lower lip, cutting the lip immediately. He stumbles back with the unexpected force, blood spitting to the pavement. When he snarls, his teeth are smeared with red.]

Touchy little thing, aren't you? [Hand to his mouth, holding it. But that doesn't obscure the words. His eyes are wide and watchful, significantly less smug.] What did I say about power?

[Katurian shakes and cradles his fist, drawing it up against his chest. Edward's blood dots his knuckles. He touches that blood with his finger and then brings that finger up to his face, smudging deep red along his cheek where Edward stroked him moments earlier.]

Touch is a form of control.

[A slight, sardonic smirk as he watches Katurian's ritual.]

Yes.

Did it make you feel better?

[Another spit of blood. His lip is torn.]

[He nods quickly, quietly. He runs his teeth over his bottom lip.]

I like knowing that I'm not always so helpless.

[The next swathe of blood and saliva he spits at Katurian.]

Perhaps I should let you. Give you that craved heat just to take it away again. Perhaps I should.

[He flinches, his body taking on its automatic fear reflex even as he fails to avoid the blood and spit. It connects easily with his shirt.]

Really. It wouldn't be a blow to your-- [He wraps his tongue around the words, those harsh sounds.] -- dignity.
