Shade doesn't know if he likes Cross or not! The guys interesting, and it's kind of weird knowing someone from Victorian London who isn't fucking Simon Culp, but at the same time, Shade hates England, so he's not all that nostalgic toward it, and Cross is like that guy who kind of reveled in it, so he's not all that keen to talk of London. But at the same time, he's kind of funny and endearing, so he's always happy to sit down and have food and drink and chat. Because Shade's that kind of guy.

OH FIDDLES, Shade sees Fiddler as one of those guys that he worked with that couple times, like an old office buddy he still sees even though they've gone their different ways. To be fair, though, like, he doesn't get why Fiddles is so happy either. Not that he's complaining, but the guy is just too goddamned cheery for an ex villain, but he'd prefer Isaac to Thinker any day of the week.

BUT HE'S ALSO LIKE, concerned, because Fiddler died and shit, and that's kind of heavy, and it's really weird seeing him around these days, because really, he's used to seeing people go, not so much to seeing them just show up alive for no fucking reason.

NOT THAT HE's COMPLAINING, Isaac's a pretty chill guy.

Oh Zee, it is that she's charming and lovely. And also that she's enjoyable company, and sassy, and fun. He enjoys flirting, and really, he enjoys hanging out with someone who's not exactly self-righteous, and he wonders why he was never hanging out with them back home, other than the fact that he was busy doing stuff that didn't matter. He respects her quite a bit for being someone who involves herself in things that are really vital, since he can't be bothered to do it.

AND GOD, she's fun to flirt with, even if she's taken. He's pretty sad about that, actually. It's a shame.
