monica is lil's only real friend in the city, basically. which is super important to her, because with madison almost always working and the emotional distance between them being obvious (that and her impending death in her home universe), she's become really isolated and her abrasive personality makes it hard for her to get along with others. SO YEAH, she actually relies on monica more than she lets on, and her loyalty to monica is growing pretty strong. she feels like monica understands her, especially on the front of husband shenanigans, and monica is probably who she would turn to in the city if she ever needed help. :{!!

HIS TERRIFYING BOSS LADY WHO WOULD PROBABLY MAKE A BETTER DEMON THAN HE DOES... but seriously, april is one of the only people in any remote position of authority that terry actually respects and, even more extraordinarily, likes. her straight-forwardness and dryness are basically his favorite things about her, even though he probably wakes up abruptly in the middle of the night checking his forehead for unicorns. the raccoons he could probably do without but, there's a reason he's still interning for her even though it means seeing raccoons and taking administrative abuse all day! a cooler boss probably does not exist in the city tbh.

when terry finally makes the realization that he thinks of striker as a friend (maybe even a good friend) he's just going to be horrified. because i think the sort of antagonistic bond he feels with striker snuck up on him somewhere between him being annoyed with the black onesie and the constant criticism of all things terry. as weird and possibly sad as it is, there's only been maybe one or two other people in his entire life who have ever cared enough or believed enough that there's something there to work on him or work with him, so even though striker cut his hair while he was dead and makes fun of how hideously pale he is, it's sort of strangely comforting in a way that TERRY WILL NEVER TALK ABOUT EVEN UNDER PAIN OF DEATH EVER. EVER.
