GOOD FRIEND, BEST SISTER. For real though, Jade is one of John's best friends, and even though she doesn't remember everything that happened to her and John here at CNC, he still remembers and appreciates when past Jade was there for him as emotional and literal physical support, and feels confident that even without remembering any of that Jade will still be there for him if he needs her. She's an amazing friend, and she puts up with a lot of bullshit.

Bullshit from John, bullshit from Dave, bullshit from Rose, bullshit from Karkat, etc... He has lots of respect for Jade for being able to do that too! Since he knows that at least (the other three) can be really annoying, and Jade's probably better at dealing with them than John is. She is impressive and supportive, and she's probably the person John is most comfortable with out of anyone he knows in the City. He trusts all his friends a lot, but because Jade is a lot more level headed than most of his friends he trusts her in a way he doesn't trust the others.
