quentin doesnt necessarily hate hank as much as he pretends he does. but he still hates hank. particularly when hank gets in his face or into his business about things quentin thinks he's superior at. part of his rebellious badboy attitude is that he likes the attention it brings himself, so that's why he doesn't completely hate hank because hank does pay attention. and let's face it, he kind of owes it to hank for keeping him alive. at least partial credit
