[ He takes his hand, but wastes no time, making a sharp tug to pull him closer. ]

[ Normally Dracula would have stayed in place, but he wasn't expecting to be pulled, and so it actually causes him to step forward.

He doesn't move back, though. ]

It's a part of this game the puppeteers seem to force us through. [ But he doesn't say who they are. Just that it wasn't his fault. ]

I do hope you understand that his is purely business.

[ And that's a cue for Shade to lean forward!! ]

[ It takes him a split second to realize what's going on, and half of that to decide that he doesn't get kissed.

[ Well, if this is going to be a mutual thing, all the better. At least neither of them will be embarrassed, or some nonsense like that. Shade doesn't quite do this with blokes, though. So it's, at the very least, awkward, and more chaste than anything else. Lacking in passion at the very least. ]
