What does Cyd look for in a significant other?

A nice guy. You'd think that would be simple, but alas, Cyd has terrible luck in the dude department. She brings all the secret assholes to the yard! For example, Fawkes. Cyd was so desperate to believe he wasn't really a jerk and that he'd get over his dumb "I refuse to date you because of my peen code" BS, and that she'd finally found a guy who treated her well!

Buuuuut he broke her heart. And I have a feeling he wasn't the first. We don't know a lot about how she got together with her cello-playing ex, Trevor, but it seems like he was a good dude at the start. It wasn't until later that Cyd realized he was a manipulator and a cheater. Even Wade kinda falls into this category! He's pretty dismissive of Cyd's hobbies, sure, but he does encourage her to feel better about herself... until he decides she's not that great. And says so. In front of... everyone. Wade also reminds me that I think she's pretty susceptible to the charms of any dude who flirts with her as long as it doesn't come with a side of stalking! Because her self-esteem is terrible like that and, frankly, she's a little desperate.

aaaaaand since I mentioned stalking I could talk about her and Zaboo but I'll spare you the many paragraphs of TL;DR i could write about that

but as she told Kanaya, as of her pull point? I think she's realized she needs to focus on herself for a while before dating anyone. I think it's pretty telling that she stops complaining about her lacking love life in Season Six.

Oh! And I said guys in my comment above, buuuuuuut Cyd isn't quite as straight as she claims to be. She seemed pretty receptive to Riley's advances until she remembered they were coming from Riley and Riley is a million kinds of horrible. Plus, she's the one who actually tried to kiss Tink during their fake-out make-out. Plus she did accidentally go on a date with a lesbian that one time. All that said, I'm not sure she's ready to start questioning her sexuality. She still seems to be having trouble dealing with her Dad coming out, after all!

What are her favorite and least favorite things about the City so far, respectively?

Absolute Favorite Thing: NOT HAVING TO MOOCH OFF HER DAD FOR RENT.
Other Cool Things: The people seem pretty nice so far, no self-appointed roommates (yet?), she's finding things to do other than sit around and mope in her apartment, cute dudes in form-fitting costumes, and everything is shiny and new it's sort of a like an adventure if she doesn't think about it too hard!

Absolute Least Favorite Thing: SHADOW CODEX.
Other Sucky Things: Her friends are gone, there's no version of The Game for her to play, everyone has learned she's a pathetic loser thanks to Shadow Codex, she has no idea what to do with her life, she's not even sure if her staff works or just looks cool, everything is dangerous and scary if she thinks about it for too long, and did I mention her friends are gone?
