It's in my genes, but stripes unfortunately aren't. And the name is Dr. McCoy.
If you'd rather stay on the surface, crowds are always a good place to be lost. Maybe the Central Park Zoo.
[He pauses a moment as something comes to mind.] Avoid Times Square. Always.

[There's a pause on Hobbes' part as well.]
I don't know if I want to go anywhere I make people wig out. We tigers can be pretty intimidating, I might freak someone out if they think I got out of a cage!
[This isn't necessarily true. Hobbes is quite possibly the least intimidating looking tiger in the history of gentle-looking tigers, but don't tell him that.]
What's Times Square, and why shouldn't I go there?

[He punctuates it with another smile, tugging at the lapels of his lab coat.]
Times Square is a rather busy little corner of the City. It's also where all of the worst things tend to happen. Something of an unlucky spot, so always be careful around there.
Maybe a toy store would be a better option, anyway. You could hide among the plushes at FAO Schwartz, if you're afraid someone would get the wrong idea at the zoo!

[Hobbes grins at the lion-man again, wishing that he had a coat to tug on the lapels on as well.]
Well if it's the busiest, it makes sense that it's where the most bad things happen, right? Just by the sheer amount of things that happen there, a certain percentage of them are going to be bad.
Either way, I think the toy store would be the best option. We tigers can also be quite cuddly when we want to be, I'll fit right in!
