Seriously, how did this happen? Of all the people to wind up married to it had to be the one person besides Gilgamesh she wanted nothing to do with.

[ Having Kiritsugu's Servant bound to him is not quite as satisfying as he envisioned. Simply said, it is not wise to torment a Servant who is not under his contract, and who could very easily kill him (especially given that she had plenty of reason to do so). It isn't a lost cause: her displeasure with his very existence is obvious, which feeds him well enough.

Speaking of feeding...

Kirei approaches her without a word, looming over her shorter figure as she cooks. Curious and utterly without manner, he goes ahead and reaches around her to test the stew.

[Oh, she knows it's not out of physical desire. If any physical desire had been involved at all she would have thrown him out of the window long ago. If there is one thing she trusts of him, it's the fact him creeping on her has absolutely nothing to do with bedding her.

Doesn't make it any less creepy, but it's nice to know him standing too close is most likely to annoy her than because he's trying to force things on her.]
