You didn't read the memo, did you? The dog tags you get upon arrival will give you a $200 a week stipend and will let you into your room at the MAC, which is a giant apartment complex for us poor wayward souls. My suggestion is to keep them only if you think they're necessary, as you can be tracked by them. I know people who have been here for years and had them and not had a problem, though. [But this is all boring, right?]

It's called the City. It's sort of a weird alternate New York City. It's really similar to the one from my world and what I gathered from Buffy, yours. So in short: yeah. You know your stuff.
